Camp Prospect is new to town but true to the values of the community. We provide high quality childcare in a safe and nurturing environment for campers to meaningfully engage with their surroundings through play. Our enrichment is bolstered by the imagination of our campers who help us to conceive big ideas and big feelings that can create a big impact on our community. We encourage our little ones to seek out answers and new challenges as they explore and interact with the colorful world around them.

Hey, Neighbor!

It’s such a pleasure to meet you!

Ages ago, as a teenager, I got my first job as a babysitter. I enjoyed it so much that I became an educator working with NYC public schools. Later I became a consultant for the DOE, an operations director and eventually co-director of an NPO operating summer camps. To say working with young people is a passion of mine would not encapsulate the fulfillment I derive from my career. With a strong focus on the development of summer CAMP, and how summer CAMP embodies the energy and happiness of summer, I set out to offer a service that delivers this sunshine all year round. Camp Prospect is a space for our kiddos to play, create and explore.

Brooklyn is such a unique city, and our little corner of Brooklyn is such a wonderful area for kiddos to grow. We encourage curiosity and the playful spirit that all children have. By venturing on field trips to local businesses, hosting local vendors, participating in nearby activities and visiting the iconic NYC monuments such as Prospect Park and the Brooklyn Library, we can pack so much learning and development into our campers’ lives outside of the monotony of their school routine. In doing so, we can strengthen their understanding of community while empowering them to identify how they contribute and the impact of their contribution.

Now, how these services equip families to be their best, goes without saying. I’m a mom, too! Finding something to do to fill our children’s weekends can be a challenge sometimes, especially when we have different obligations that pull us in different directions. Saturday is always a BIG DAY! We often have errands, work, cleaning, social plans, and the little things that we just could not get done during the week. Having affordable and convenient childcare on Saturdays can be a game changer for busy families! Enrolling our kids in Saturday Camp can really impact our own time management and eliminate the guilt that we don’t do enough with them on the weekends.

That’s why we’re here. Our mission is simple; providing incredible childcare to our community. The benefits of this service is ultimately for each family to decide.

How to Enroll

  • Only Camp Prospect Members can enroll their children in camp programs. Purchasing a membership covers the camp activity and administrative fees. The difference between the Annual Membership and the Monthly Membership can be found in the FAQs.

  • After a membership has been purchased, families may select a program in which to enroll their children. Families may also choose which Add-Ons they may need, if any. Members have access to important camp information and photos of their campers’ activities. For the privacy of families, this is not accessible on the main site.

  • All program purchases will be confirmed by email with a receipt. The roster for each program will have all campers expected to be in attendance.
